My name is Vonnell Jarrell and I’m 58 years old. I work as a receiving manager for major grocery store here in California. I’ve been with this company for 24 years. I also have three boys who are all grown now.

What makes you the Next Runway Star?
I think I look great for 58 years old. So I thought why not. I’ve never done anything like this before. And not to brag, but I do get a lot of compliments one lady told me I should be an actor with my looks. And also a lot of people think I was an athlete.
What would this once in a lifetime experience mean to you and why?
It would mean the world because in the past, I’ve had hangups in my life like everyone else I have overcome them. I also think that this would be an awesome experience.
What are you most proud of about yourself or what have you overcome and why?
I am most proud about my hard work, ethic my family, and just seeing my boys all grown up starting their own families. I’ve also been to the penitentiary for 10 months and jail did exactly what it was designed to do for me. I got out in 92 and haven’t seen the inside of a jail since so I am very proud of that.
What would you do with the $20,000 cash prize?
I would pay off credit cards invest some and take my wife on awesome trip to see our first grandbaby. She’s a leap year baby, so we definitely will travel to go visit her.
