Danette Batiste is a visionary community leader and CEO of Healthy Heart Nation, a non-profit organization, focused on advancing health equity and reducing chronic disease disparities, particularly within African American communities, and transforming lives through faith-based health initiatives. She is committed to prevention, health equity, and community empowerment.

Danette will make her runway debut at the Rise Fashion Show during NYFW and take home the $20,000 cash prize.

Myra was selected for her ability to turn her pain into purpose. As a young, aspiring model who survived domestic violence at home and attempted rape multiple times, her modeling dreams were put on hold when a photographer tried to take advantage of her. Myra decided to give up on her modeling dreams and spent her 20+ year career working on preventing violence against women around the world, including consulting for the World Health Organization. Myra’s dream of walking the runway is 25 years in the making and shows that no matter what you’ve been through, it’s never too late to RISE and realize your dreams.

International hospitality leader with 25+ years across India, Switzerland, and the USA and a former Mrs. India International where she served as the Director and mentored women from around the world. Adrita has a Master’s in Sociology and 12 years of childhood training in classical dance which shaped her discipline, consistency and grace. Adrita believes that true beauty is serving others.
