What makes you the Next Runway Star?
I have a unique way of dressing and I’m a survivor too who has a positive attitude despite all I’ve been through.
What would this once in a lifetime experience mean to you and why?
It would mean giving support to other survivors and showing others you should keep believing in yourself even when the going gets tough.
What are you most proud of about yourself or what have you overcome and why?
I’m most proud that I’ve obtained an excellent education and have been a professional writer for over 20 years despite struggling to overcome physical and sexual abuse from childhood. I’ve also had SLE Lupus since 2008 and was diagnosed with Stage II A breast cancer in 2010.
What would you do with the $20,000 cash prize?
I’d like to finish writing my first book and organize workshops to help others with my book’s message.
