What makes you the Next Runway Star?
Runway is more than fashion—it’s confidence, resilience, and storytelling. I bring a unique perspective shaped by growing up across different cultures, from Vietnam to Singapore and now the United States. Every challenge I’ve faced has taught me to carry myself with strength, grace, and purpose. I don’t just wear the clothes; I bring emotion, professionalism, and authenticity to every step I take. My goal is to inspire others to embrace who they are and prove that beauty comes from confidence, perseverance, and individuality.
What would this once in a lifetime experience mean to you and why?
This opportunity would represent years of believing in myself despite obstacles. Modeling has always been a dream, but life required me to focus on building a future, supporting my family, and overcoming personal challenges. Being part of Next Runway Star would show that dreams don’t have an expiration date. It would allow me to grow, learn from industry professionals, and inspire others—especially young women and immigrants—to believe that their background is their strength, not their limitation.
What are you most proud of about yourself or what have you overcome and why?
I am most proud of my resilience. Moving between countries, adapting to new cultures, building a life in the United States, and supporting my family as a military spouse have all shaped me into the woman I am today. I’ve faced setbacks, personal hardships, and moments of self-doubt, but I chose to keep moving forward instead of giving up. Every challenge has made me stronger, more compassionate, and more determined to achieve my goals. I believe true beauty comes from the strength to rise after every obstacle.
What would you do with the $20,000 cash prize?
If I were fortunate enough to win the $20,000 cash prize, I would use it to support military spouse organizations and programs that provide career development, mental health resources, and emergency assistance to military families. Military spouses often put their own careers and dreams on hold because of frequent moves and deployments. I want to help create opportunities that empower them to pursue their goals and remind them they are seen, valued, and supported. Winning this competition would give me a platform to advocate for the military spouse community and use my voice to make a meaningful difference beyond the runway.
