believe the next Runway Star is someone who inspires others just by being themselves. I'm a proud New Yorker who spent more than 20 years in New York before moving to Minnesota just a year ago to begin a new chapter. Through every change in life, I've learned that confidence comes from perseverance, resilience, and believing in yourself even when the path isn't easy. I bring authenticity, determination, and a positive attitude to everything I do. I know this opportunity isn't just about walking a runway—it's about representing people who dare to chase their dreams no matter where life takes them. If chosen, I will work hard, stay humble, and proudly represent everyone who has supported me along this journey.
What would this once in a lifetime experience mean to you and why?
This opportunity would truly mean the world to me. After living in New York for over 20 years and recently moving to Minnesota, returning to New York to walk in New York Fashion Week would feel like coming home while fulfilling one of my biggest dreams. It would be more than walking a runway—it would represent years of believing in myself, embracing new beginnings, and never giving up on what inspires me. I hope my journey reminds others that it's never too late to chase a dream and that sometimes the biggest opportunities come when you least expect them. I would be honored to represent this competition and make everyone who supported me proud.
What are you most proud of about yourself or what have you overcome and why?
I'm most proud of my resilience. Life doesn't always go according to plan, but I've learned that every challenge is an opportunity to grow. Moving from New York to Minnesota a year ago meant starting over in many ways, and it reminded me how important it is to stay optimistic, adaptable, and open to new opportunities. I've learned to keep moving forward with determination, kindness, and gratitude. Those experiences have shaped who I am today, and they've taught me that success isn't measured only by accomplishments but by the courage to keep believing in yourself. That mindset is what I'll bring to every opportunity if I'm fortunate enough to become the Next Runway Star.
What would you do with the $20,000 cash prize?
The $20,000 would be more than a prize—it would be an investment in a vision I've been building. I'd use it to grow my personal brand, DaNobody, into something that creates lasting opportunities and multiple streams of income. That means investing in professional branding, high-quality content, photography, video production, marketing, and the tools needed to reach a larger audience. I'd also use part of the prize to strengthen my financial future and give back to the people who have supported and believed in me throughout this journey. I don't see this as just winning money—I see it as building something that can inspire others, open new doors, and create opportunities that last long after the competition is over._
