What makes you the Next Runway Star?
I have a unique perspective in life that I know it’s what the world needs right now. As an empath my mission on this earth is to help this generation move with love and compassion. I think I’d be a great contender because I’d like to share my life experience and help those in need, my life hasn’t always been easy and I’ve been through hardships that have shaped who I am today, therefore I believe with my empathy and life experiences I’d love to be the voice for those who always felt misunderstood.
What would this once in a lifetime experience mean to you and why?
This experience would be a lifetime experience. Being able to show the world who I am not only would give me visibility to show people what my mission is, but additionally I’d feel honored to represent many queer people around the world. Therefore inspire to continue persevering for your dreams and goals. Especially no matter what walk of life. This chance would be so monumental I’d love to share it with the world. I want to be able to inspire others through my life experiences towards a better future where love is what reigns. We live in a current timeline where there’s so much haste and chaos, so much division where instead of celebrating our differences we instead mutilate each other by climbing a ladder of who should stay on top and bottom. But in reality there’s so much space in the universe for all us, why not coexist working together for a better world.
What are you most proud of about yourself or what have you overcome and why?
My biggest and hardest thing I’ve had to overcome was sexual assault. When I was younger unfortunately I experienced one of the most life changing moments of my 23 years of life. And though it was hard to get myself out of that dark place I was; which I could’ve not been able to process it without my friends at the time but I found an important lesson in that experience. Life is meant to be enjoyed every day like it’s your last. To live without regrets and to make sure you’re making the best you can without guilt and regret. Life is a such a beautiful experience and oneself has to make sure you’re living it for you and doing what makes you happy and not for others. Others people opinions don’t dictate my reality!
What would you do with the $20,000 cash prize?
The cash prize would be a lifetime reward that would help me further my career in drag and modeling. As well further in my transition and live my truth more authentically.
