What makes you the Next Runway Star?

The thing that makes me the Next Runway Star is my “go get em” personality, and my love for fashion in general. As I mentioned earlier, I’ve been into fashion since I was a kid, and as an adult, I love wearing things that are different, things that you wouldn’t see anyone else wearing. I really want to share that creativity with the world, and I feel like this would be the perfect opportunity to do so.

What would this once in a lifetime experience mean to you and why?

This once-in-a-lifetime experience would give me the opportunity to be truly seen and heard, and to use my voice to make a meaningful difference. I deeply believe in what this campaign stands for, and the chance to inspire others through this platform would mean so much to me. Through runway, storytelling, and even the music I write, I hope to encourage people to embrace who they are, learn to love themselves, and extend that same love and compassion to others. If given this opportunity, I would use my voice to remind people that they are worthy of being seen, heard, and loved exactly as they are.

What are you most proud of about yourself or what have you overcome and why?

I’ve faced many challenges throughout my life, including experiencing an abusive relationship and the heartbreaking loss of my twins due to medical negligence . Those experiences have changed me, but they have not broken me. Through every difficult moment, God has carried me, strengthened me, and reminded me that my story is not over. I know He has brought me through everything I’ve faced for a reason, and I trust that He still has a purpose for my life. I want to use my experiences to show others that even through the hardest seasons, there is still hope, strength, and a reason to keep going.

What would you do with the $20,000 cash prize?

If I were blessed to receive the cash prize, one of the first things I would do is give back to a cancer foundation that supports families and individuals facing cancer. Watching my own mom fight cancer and come out stronger on the other side showed me just how deeply cancer can affect an entire family, and it made me want to be part of giving hope and support to others going through that journey. I would also use the prize to help create a more secure future for my children and family, with the goal of purchasing a home where we can build lasting memories and have a place to truly call our own. To me, this prize would be about so much more than the money—it would be an opportunity to turn a blessing in my life into blessings for the people I love and for others who need hope.
