What makes you the Next Runway Star?
It would be such an honor, to be associated with this organization! To represent women who have been through the fire and come out shining with resilience! To share hope and inspire others, that we are NOT what happened to us, but who WE choose to be. To reach out and pull up even ONE person, would be so rewarding.
What would this once in a lifetime experience mean to you and why?
To be able to represent women, who have gone through the fire and came out strong! To show people that we can not only survive, we can thrive! That even though bad things happen, we don’t have to let them define us!
What are you most proud of about yourself or what have you overcome and why?
I am most proud of learning that is can be emancipating and beautiful, to be true to oneself. Not letting other peoples opinions or actions, affect the person that I have become. To be true to myself!
What would you do with the $20,000 cash prize?
I would invest some, and pay off some bills and do a vacation with my husband. Eddie, my husband, has prostate cancer, AFIB, kidney disease and congestive heart failure, so I want to enjoy our time together, while we can.
