What makes you the Next Runway Star?
I enjoy fashion! Even at 60 years old.
What would this once in a lifetime experience mean to you and why?
My late mother was a fashionista. She passed her love of fashion and beauty down to me. It would be an absolute dream of mine realized to walk the runway and honor her life while doing it for my 60th birthday this year.
What are you most proud of about yourself or what have you overcome and why?
As a Jamaican born woman living in the United States, I'm proud of the life I've built given the hand I was dealt. I'm proud of my ability to stay soft and emphatic to others when life seemed to take my ability to make choices and decisions from me. My house has been a revolving door for those in need. I'm glad to have been something I would have needed.
What would you do with the $20,000 cash prize?
I would love to purpose it into my women rehabilitation shelter then take the rest and travel a bit with my family!
