What makes you the Next Runway Star?
Bring it out of me...I'm ready for new ventures. I'm a sponge when it comes to learning from experts and professionals too. So, I'm getting in shape, drinking plenty of water, and getting good rest. I'm so ready to do this at 59 years old, especially with what I'm overcoming!!! I'm walking out my healing!!! WALK IT OUT WALK IT OUT!!! Thank you for your support!
What would this once in a lifetime experience mean to you and why?
After researching more information about RISE, this is much bigger than just walking the runway. I'm a victim of abuse, recently walking away from the abuser. Any form of abuse is traumatic and life changing. Not everyone has been fortunate to survive a sexual assault or physical abuse. It's very humbling and liberating to be a survivor, to break free from controlling, manipulative, toxic, narcissistic partners. RISE... RISE....RISE. Walking this runway represents not only myself rising, healing, being liberated, but it also represents others that have been able to RISE from the trauma of abuse, as well as in remembrance of so many that did not survive the monsters that abused them 💔. This is a very powerful opportunity!! I look forward to getting this awesome glam treatment because I'm not big on wearing makeup, so I'm excited to see what fabulous look the experts will create with me. Meeting professional models and glam squads will be a great experience!
What are you most proud of about yourself or what have you overcome and why?
The tenacious spirit God has given me through the abuse and every experience in my life so far. Faith over fear...never give up on yourself!
What would you do with the $20,000 cash prize?
I have an LLC and a non-profit organization. This will be used to help continue the vision God gave me for both of them. I LOVE serving and helping others step into their greatness, and MUSIC is my happy place!!
