What makes you the Next Runway Star?
I bring a story that goes far beyond the runway. I'm a Bangladeshi-Canadian registered nurse, entrepreneur, former international flight attendant, and real estate investor. I've lived and worked across three continents and traveled to more than 100 destinations. Every chapter of my life has taught me resilience, confidence, and compassion. At 43, I want to represent women and men who continue to reinvent themselves. Beauty isn't about age or perfection—it's about character, confidence, and having the courage to keep growing. I hope my journey inspires others to believe it's never too late to chase a new dream.
What would this once in a lifetime experience mean to you and why?
This opportunity would be a celebration of a lifetime of hard work, perseverance, and believing in myself. I never imagined that a girl who left Bangladesh over two decades ago with big dreams would one day have the chance to walk a runway like this. More importantly, I hope to inspire women—especially immigrant women and women over 40—to realize that our best years don't have an expiration date. We can continue learning, evolving, and embracing new opportunities at every stage of life.
What are you most proud of about yourself or what have you overcome and why?
I'm most proud of building my life through education, hard work, and integrity. I left home at a young age, built a career in aviation, earned multiple nursing qualifications, became a registered nurse, and created financial independence through real estate. I've learned to overcome fear, uncertainty, and setbacks without giving up on my values. Every challenge has made me stronger and more compassionate. My greatest achievement isn't my career—it's becoming a woman who lifts others up and continues to grow with humility.
What would you do with the $20,000 cash prize?
The $20,000 would probably not change my life financially, but it would help me create a bigger impact to assist others . I have been fortunate to build a stable life through nursing, entrepreneurship, and real estate. I would invest the prize in growing my personal brand, creating meaningful content, and promoting healthy aging, confidence, and lifelong learning. I also want to use my platform to encourage people—especially those over 40 and immigrants—to believe it's never too late to reinvent themselves. As a Flight Attendant and a nurse, I've cared for people during their most vulnerable moments, and I've learned that confidence, kindness, and resilience are just as important as beauty. For me, this prize isn't about the money. It's about using the opportunity to inspire others, open new doors, and leave people feeling hopeful. If my journey encourages even one person to dream bigger and believe in herself, that would be the greatest reward.
