About Eric Roul
I am French living in the US. I am 64, but I still have the heart of a teenager, the curiosity to keep reinventing myself, and the appetite for life of a lion. I’ve lived, traveled, raised a family, built a career, and never stopped embracing life.

What makes you the Next Runway Star?
At 64, I don’t walk a runway to prove that age doesn’t matter—I walk it to show what confidence, resilience, and joy look like after a lifetime of experiences. Fashion isn’t just about clothes; it’s about presence, personality, and the story you bring when you enter a room. If chosen, I won’t simply represent a generation, I will represent the idea that passion, elegance, and authenticity never go out of fashion.
What would this once in a lifetime experience mean to you and why?
This experience would be far more than walking a runway—it would be a celebration of a life fully lived. At 64, it would prove that dreams don’t have an expiration date and that courage is timeless. I hope my journey inspires people of every age, especially those who think they’ve missed their chance, to believe it’s never too late to reinvent themselves. If one person decides to chase a dream because they saw me on that runway, then this opportunity will have meant far more than fashion—it will have become a message of hope for others.
What are you most proud of about yourself or what have you overcome and why?
What I’m most proud of isn’t a title or an accomplishment—it’s that I’ve never stopped growing. I’ve raised four wonderful children, built a career in technology, embraced new cultures, and faced life’s challenges with resilience rather than regret. Every setback taught me to become stronger, wiser, and more compassionate. At 64, I’m still learning, dreaming, and stepping outside my comfort zone. I hope people see that true confidence isn’t about looking perfect; it’s about having the courage to keep reinventing yourself while staying true to who you are. That’s the greatest achievement of my life.
What would you do with the $20,000 cash prize?
I would first help some members of my family. Then, I would invest some prize money in building my personal platform so I can inspire others that life doesn’t stop with age—it evolves. I would create professional content, work with photographers and coaches, and use my story to encourage people to pursue their dreams regardless of their age or circumstances. I’d also use part of the prize to support causes that empower young people and communities through confidence, education, and opportunity. Winning would be an investment not only in my future, but in a message I hope will inspire thousands of others to believe that it’s never too late to begin again.
