What makes you the Next Runway Star?
I believe the next runway star isn’t just one person, it’s the story we bring with us. My daughter and I use our platform to inspire confidence, kindness, and inclusion every day. Together, we show that beauty has no limits and that everyone deserves to be seen, valued, and celebrated. Walking the runway would allow us to represent families like ours and remind the world that fashion is for everyone.
What would this once in a lifetime experience mean to you and why?
This opportunity would mean everything to my daughter and me. Walking at New York Fashion Week would be a dream come true and a chance to show that inclusion belongs on every runway. We hope our journey encourages other families to believe in themselves, embrace who they are, and never let anyone tell them they don’t belong.
What are you most proud of about yourself or what have you overcome and why?
I am most proud of the life my daughter and I have built together. Through every challenge, I have continued to move forward with strength, love, and determination. Watching my daughter grow into a confident young woman has inspired me to keep chasing my dreams while helping her chase hers. Together, we’ve learned that our differences are our greatest strengths.
What would you do with the $20,000 cash prize?
I would invest in building opportunities for both my daughter and me. I would grow our brand, create more inspiring content, and continue advocating for inclusion in fashion and media. I would also use part of the prize to support our future and create experiences that help us continue inspiring others. This isn’t just an investment in us, it’s an investment in showing the world that everyone deserves a place to shine.
