What makes you the Next Runway Star?
Tough question cause I honestly don’t know but I do know how to walk into a room and own it. I been told I’m pretty charming and I have been practicing my strut since I was a kid listening to cheetah girls.
What would this once in a lifetime experience mean to you and why?
It would mean that I’m not dumb. And that I’m not just chasing some pipe dream. It would show me that I can chase my dreams and the things I want and maybe I was made to be seen and in the spot light rather than spend my life trying to hide from it.
What are you most proud of about yourself or what have you overcome and why?
I’m the most proud that I overcame myself. I have struggled with depression, anxiety and body issues for pretty much my whole life. Being told that you’re ugly disgusting and worthless by people your age growing up messes with your head. And mine is working against me a lot and there has been times where it almost won. But I never gave up and I kept fighting and now I’m not perfect but my brain is just a little more quiet.
What would you do with the $20,000 cash prize?
Honestly I would probably pay my bills and some of my mom’s bills. She supports me when I can’t support myself. And I want to do everything I can to pay her back and lighten the load for her.
