What makes you the Next Runway Star?
I should be the next Runway Star because I represent everyday women who dream big. I bring personality, confidence, and a genuine love for fashion. I want to show that style isn’t about being perfect it’s about owning who you are, taking chances, and inspiring others to do the same. If I get the opportunity, I’ll walk that runway with confidence, gratitude, and a reminder that even the biggest dreams can start with one bold step.
What would this once in a lifetime experience mean to you and why?
Flying to New York Fashion Week would be more than a trip, it would be proof that taking chances can change your life. As a single mom from Texas, opportunities like this don’t come around every day. It would remind me that big dreams really can become reality with hard work, faith, and the courage to put yourself out there. I’ve always admired fashion because it’s a way to tell your story without saying a word. To experience New York Fashion Week, surrounded by creativity and people who inspire the industry, would be something I’d remember forever. I’d soak up every moment, meet new people, learn from the best, and represent women who are chasing dreams that may seem out of reach. Most of all, I’d want my son to see that it’s never too late to dream big. I want him to grow up knowing that no matter where you come from, you belong in the room if you’re willing to work for it. This wouldn’t just be a once-in-a-lifetime experience it would be the beginning of an even bigger dream.
What are you most proud of about yourself or what have you overcome and why?
I’m most proud of the person I’ve become through life’s challenges. As a single mom, I’ve learned to be resilient, independent, and to keep showing up even when things weren’t easy. I’ve overcome setbacks, uncertainty, and moments that tested my confidence, but I never stopped believing that better days were ahead. Every challenge has made me stronger, more compassionate, and more determined to build a meaningful life for my son and myself. I’m proud that I continue to dream big, take chances, and stay curious always reaching for the stars, literally and figuratively.
What would you do with the $20,000 cash prize?
If I won $20,000, I’d use it to create a fresh start. I’d pay off my debt, invest the rest to build a better future, and keep working toward my goals. On going back to college.
